It was his passion for the History and cultural heritage of Porto that lead him to create the Facebook page Porto Desaparecido, which accrued over 120 thousand followers. In 2013 he was awarded the Municipal Medal by the City of Porto, in recognition for the relevance of his work. Author of the book " Porto d’Honra", Manuel de Sousa, has appeared as lecturer and educator at a number of venues, he collaborates with newspapers, magazines and alos leads guided tours of the city of Porto.
