Mariana Vilanova
Mariana Vilanova (1996) is an artist based in Porto. Through photography, video and multimedia installations, she has been presenting works that bring us closer to the challenges of the 21st century, such as the impact of technological advances on human beings and the planet.
She has a degree in Fine Arts (FBAUP) and a Master's in Multimedia (FEUP). She has been exhibiting regularly since 2016, both nationally and internationally, including Na Faina do Argaço (2024), curated by Batalha Centro de Cinema; and the exhibitions Análise de um paraíso fugaz (gnration, 2023), with Marcelo Reis, the result of the artistic residency Scale Travels (NOA, INL), Solastalgia (Galeria Ócio, 2022), and Before and After Us (RAMPA, 2021).
