Jayne Dyer (Melbourne) is an Australian artist and art writer based in Lisbon and Porto. Her hybrid practice, which incorporates text, objects, photographic and moving image installations, navigates between perception and behaviour, rupture and repair. Her writing positions the arts within a socio-political framework. Her projects are supported by international art agencies and she has held residencies in Asia and Europe. She was co-artistic director of the Porto Photography Biennial for the 2023 edition and is a consultant for the Ci.CLO Photography Platform in Porto. She contributed to the Asia-Europe Foundation's Green Guide, mapping cultural initiatives for environmental and social sustainability in Portugal (2019). In Porto, she created Atelier Bonfim (2020) and Atelier Campanha (2022), both visual arts laboratories that promote regenerative artistic actions.
