Isabeli Santiago

Isabeli Santiago was born in Brazil in 1993. She lives and works in Porto, Portugal.

Santiago is an art historia, activist and independent curator.

She holds an undergraduate degree in Art History from Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto, where she started he independent research on the topics of gender, territory and language, through an interdisciplinary approach. In 2018 she was awarded a Masters degree from the Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto. She is the co-founder of  the MAAD Collective - Women, Art, Architecture and Design (since 2016), a feminist collaborative platform plataforma that aims to oppose the pathriarcal forces that still occupy hurban culture and  public spaces.   Isabeli devotes her time to curatorial projects, research in the fields of Art History, Architecture, Urbanism, Feminist Literature and Post-Colonial Studies.
