Isabel Stein
Born in Brazil in 1988, lives and works in Porto, Portugal.
Isabel Stein is a PhD student in the program of Art Studies - Art and Mediations of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where she develops the research Visual Tropes: aesthetic-political inscriptions of contemporary photographic imagery
Isabel Stein is currently a researcher at the Observatory on Visual Studies and Archeology of Media, at the Department of Social and Human Sciences of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal. She earned a Master in Communication and Culture at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, her dissertation is titled Photo-icons: from the incarnation of the pathos to the social performance.
