Common Culture is a British artist group founded in 1996. The current members are David Campbell, Mark Durden and Ian Brown.

Common Culture have had a longstanding exploration of culture and class, and art's affinities with popular forms of entertainment, challenging and contesting the modernist model of art's cultural distinction and separation from forms of mass culture.

They have exhibited widely in the UK and internationally, with solo exhibitions in Athens, Belfast, Berlin, Birmingham, Derry, Lisbon, London, Manchester, Miami, New York and Porto.

Major group exhibitions include, Radical Ventriloquism: Acts of Speaking for & Speaking Through (Kelder Projects, London, UK, 2020); The Laughable Enigma of Ordinary Life ( Arquipélago Contemporary Art Center, Azores, Portugal, 2017); Double Act: Art & Comedy ( The MAC, Belfast, Ireland, 2016); Manifesta 8 (Murcia, Spain, 2010); Shopping: A Century of Art and Consumer Culture (Tate Liverpool, UK, 2002).
